The First Memory-care only community in Sparks, Nevada

The story of Arbors Memory Care began in 1998 as the first Sparks-Reno’s dementia-care only community. Our community continues to solely focus on serving seniors experiencing the symptoms of Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

Arbors Memory Care is intentionally designed for memory care. This is reflected in our unique butterfly-shaped community layout, fixed-care pricing, and celebration of our residents’ individual stories.

We invite you to explore below to learn more about the story of Arbors Memory Care.

Built for Memory Care:

  • Our unique butterfly-shaped community features interconnecting wings with two captivating atriums, creating an environment that nurtures both body and mind.
  • The interconnecting layout allows residents to wander throughout the space while staying near carestaff and familiarity.
  • A connection to nature is present throughout our community, including our secured exterior with open areas, wandering paths, and raised garden beds.
  • One of our two 1500 square foot atriums is complete with live plants, birds, and plenty of natural light.
  • The other 1500 square foot atrium, enjoys the same natural light and comfortable setting, while engaging other senses with interactive, nostalgia-promoting spaces.

When dementia becomes a part of your story.

When dementia becomes a part of the story of the lives of our residents and families, we are here to help. Like most senior care communities, we help with the care needs and quality of life of our residents and the peace-of-mind of families.

What makes Arbors Memory Care different?

We also take the time to help celebrate the lives of our residents and document this time in a meaningful way for our residents and their families.

Families, residents, staff, and Sparks/Reno photographer Jesse Han, come together to create a moving story-centered exhibit called, “My Story.”

My Story Exhibit features the stories of dementia and the lives that are lived with dementia.

What our Families and Guests Say About Arbors Memory Care

“My husband was a resident at Arbors after his dementia became too difficult for me to handle at home. Making that decision was incredibly hard but the staff was so kind, I knew I made the right decision. They could give him much better care than I could. They treated him like family, and they also showed great compassion for me when he passed away. They cared about both the resident and his family.”

When Care Needs Change, Our Pricing Doesn’t.

Dementia is progressive. Care needs will change as symptoms progress. We are prepared to meet those changes with individualized plans as they are needed.

Most Memory Care communities will adapt their care plans as care needs progress. However, at Arbors Memory Care, we approach this change differently than most.

What makes Arbors Memory Care different?

Our families have peace-of-mind knowing that when the care needs of their loved one progress, they will be taken care of, and their care-pricing will not change.

Call one of our Sales advisors at 775-331-8875 to learn more about our pricing and how we can help your family.
