Leading the way in Alzheimer’s and memory care in northern Nevada
Arbors Memory Care Community is a community for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias in the Reno/Sparks area. The Arbors is an experienced and dedicated partner in caring for your loved one.
We a comfortable environment that promotes person-centered care, independence and choice. The communication and interaction with our highly trained caregivers, the therapeutic activities and the daily structure provide our residents with enjoyable days and offers families peace of mind.
Family owned and managed, the Arbors is a safe, relaxing environment where families and friends feel welcome and residents know they belong.
We hold our Monthly Support Group on the third Thursday of each month in our den. We welcome all families and friends of our residents, as well as anyone who is caring for someone with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia. Our next meeting will be on Thursday, May 26th at 4:00 pm.
Join us for ourMonthly Family Nightdinners onWednesday, May 25th from 5:30 to 7 pm. We’ll have a delicious meal, live entertainment and great conversation with our residents and their families.Please RSVP to Viki if you can come.
Every Thursday at 11:00 am we offer a Moments of Memory art class for our residents. Stop by and take part in one of these fun and rewarding classes. It’s great to visit with our residents and create some amazing art.
We have lots of events planned throughout the month, including visits from local entertainers who perform for our residents, as well as weekly outings. Check out our May Activity Calendar for all of our upcoming activities and events including arts and crafts, outings, classes, games, bus tours, pet therapy and more.

Walk to End Alzheimer’s
Every year we Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Our employees, families, friends and even residents take part in the walk. We encourage you to join our team on Saturday, September 24, 2016, or consider making a donation to one of our walkers.
